The Grandkids

I am completely blessed to not only have my kids make the move with David and I, but my grandbabies are here too. That means at any given time I can see my grandkids. What a blessing to share my passion for gardening and the love of the homesteading with them. Now they are city kids and it's been challenging but we are taking baby steps. They are learning about the chickens, by collecting the eggs.  It is definitely a new way of life. A slower pace. Even though our days are busy it still feels like slower living style. They have been involved in the gardening and even though they get bored fast I still enjoy the time I have with them.  Last Year they did the children's garden which was mostly flowers, but this year we are going to work on a flower hill. I can't wait to get started with it in June. On May 17th  2023  the homestead gained another grandbaby and we are all so excited.  Eleanor Grace !!. She is a true southern homestead girl.   We have a lot of homestead projects and adventures planned like our tropical pool area, a zipline and rock-climbing area, a basketball/hocky court and some ATV trails.   I look forward to sharing these blessed days with my grandkids with you all.
