Our Family 

Welcome to Grace Abounds Homestead.  We are a multigenerational family, Homestead.  We are a family of 8 of deep faith, who moved from the City of South Daytona Florida to the foothills of the Ozark Mountains in North Cental Arkansas. We spent 17 years in a fast-paced city life. In 2019 I was diagnosed with my second bout of Breast Cancer.  I knew that I needed a change. I decided to set up an urban homestead and I loved it. I started watching homesteading channels, tiny home channels & gardening channels. I start to pray on it and was led to make a move. We as a family decided to make the move.  My husband and I are not spring chickens.  I am 62 and he is in his early 65 along with our grown children and our grandchildren. We Knew that it would not be easy. Moving 1300 miles to raw land and starting from scratch. We sold our homes paid off our debt and made the move. The Things started going downhill the as soon as we pulled away from our home in Florida.  A rainstorm came in while were trying to finish loading the uphauls, our car would not go on to the tow dolly, we were late leaving the house for the new owners to be able to take possession. but we pushed forward only to have our truck which we were towing start to break away from the tow bar. Thankfully it did not happen but we had to stop and put the drive shaft back on so my son could drive in the convoy.  We finally made to our homestead only to find it overgrown and not able to get into the campground we had cleared.   Yet again we pushed through.  Our family has endured sickness, death, bad contractors, our homes leaking, extreme heat, extreme cold and much much more.
